Oulun Golf - Vaara

Oulu, , Finland · designed by amace

The Oulun Golf Vaara course in Finland is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Ronald Fream. It is known for its beautiful setting in the varied terrain and northern nature of the Sankivaara area, which includes pine forests, sand dunes, and boulders. A signature feature is the dramatic Par- 3 Vaara 5th hole, known for its imposing boulders between the tee and the moderate, the fairways can be narrow, emphasizing tactical play and positioning over driving distance to approach the large, contoured greens.
